On September 14, 2010, OSHA issued a citation to Cathcart Contracting Company accusing it of two violations of OSHA's excavation standards. Cathcart Contracting Company disagrees with the unfounded allegations made by OSHA in that citation and intends to vigorously contest this citation. OSHA's allegations in this citation are unsupported by any evidence and reflect a fundamental lack of understanding of the work that was being performed and the safety requirements relevant to that work.
